Community Service Opportunities

The Lancaster, Lebanon and York Area Dental Hygienists' Association strives to improve the oral health and total health of the public by increasing the awareness of and ensuring access to cost-effective quality oral health care. Over the years members of our component have donated many hours to community service projects and opportunities such as: visiting patients at the Conestoga Nursing Home and the Spanish Center in Lancaster, participating in denture identification programs, providing dental health information to oncologists offices for their patients, participating in Children's Dental Health Month, placing preventative sealants during Sealant Saturday events, presenting health education in schools and health fairs and participating in the American Cancer Societies Relay for Life. Our component is open to new volunteer opportunities. If you know of an event that would be worthwhile to participate in, please contact us.

If you are a member of the LLYADHA, we would like to support your community outreach programs with toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss and educational materials. Please fill out and submit the donation request form.
